Federal Police in Puerto Vallarta killed Cartel kingpin in a raid .. and all h*ll has broken loose..
Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera Cervantes, leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) was killed in a raid, along with several of his men (reports cite 8 or more CJNG members dead in the operation). In retaliation, cartel gunmen torched vehicles, businesses, banks, and pharmacies, set up roadblocks, and clashed with authorities, creating chaos with smoke plumes and a “war zone” feel.
Tourists sheltered in place, flights were canceled, school cancelled .. and the violence and destruction spread throughout the country.
I saw video of Americans showing some of the damage and saying, ‘but we are safe. we are just staying inside the hotel” … SAFE? SAFE? Are you fcking kidding??? You are NOT safe .. If the P*ssed off cartel guys decide to shoot up and burn your hotel down.. THEY WILL ..

SUPREME COURT: The SCOTUS “struck down” ( or, clarified/restricted) the Trump widespread tariffs for “National Security” reasons.. It didn’t completely strip the President of ANY power to tariff. But, said the President is trying to exercise "independent power to impose tariffs on imports from any country, of any product, at any rate, for any amount of time."
Regardless of what you think of the decision.. I, for one, think this Supreme Court “get’s it right” more than they get it wrong. Congress has powers and the Executive Branch has powers.. The Constitution lays them out .. and.. Just because the Swamp is dysfunctional and can’t get anything done doesn’t mean Congress or the President can just “do what they want”….

As soon as this ruling came out.. Trump announced 10% Global tariffs under a DIFFERENT piece of legislation .. He then immediately raised it to 15% .. Will THESE get struck down, too? Probably..

The Men’s Hockey Final went to OVERTIME .. and the story was Jack Hughes .. With the game tied in the third period Jack took a stick to the face that knocked his teeth out.. So, USA gets a 4 minute power play.. Jack returns when the bleeding stops .. and gets a PENALTY .. He sat in the box thinking, “Barstool Sports is gonna CRUSH me for WEEKS as the guy that took a penalty and gave Canada the win” .. But, NO.. They killed the penalty and went to OT ..
A few chances both ways .. Then Hughes poke checks the puck inside the USA Zone.. Werenski skates it into the zone 3 on 2 .. Hughes open in the high slot .. GOAAALLL!!!!!!! USA WINS !!!!! Video clip of where RAJ was… HERE.. (Sorry.. Im not on camera!!)
Despite the game winner.. Hughes is not the MVP in my book .. Goalie Conner Hellebuyck gets that, if I am in charge .. He stopped breakaways by McDavid, and Cellibrini .. and that doesn’t count the save heard-round-the-world on Devon Toews ..HERE.. If the USA had a good goalie they would have lost 5-1 .. Hellebuyck played a LEGENDARY game…
