You can just hear him, (Cue the Trump voice) ..“This was a small dinner.. Not important.. But.. Now, I am here and it’s HUUUUUGGGGEEE … A bigly dinner for sure … The only way it could be bigger and better would be in my new Ballroom that the nasty Democrats keep trying to block”
The “organizers” and media-types want to make a STRONG statement about First Amendment rights and blah blah blah..
Trump is sure to offer a little praise.. and a LOT of zingers .. and the chance of hearing the phrase “Fake News” is 110%
If I was Trump, I’d get Shane Gillis to come and do his Trump impersonation .. He would KILL it…

IRAN: Living Boats?
President Trump said he has ordered the U.S. Navy to “shoot and kill any boat” laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. “There is to be no hesitation,” he said on Truth Social. (Umm… Don? Ya can’t “Kill” a boat. You can SINK a boat… You can DISABLE a boat..)
“Additionally, our mine ‘sweepers’ are clearing the Strait right now.” ..Trump said..
The president said he was ordering an increase in mine-sweeping activity “at a tripled up level!” The U.S. says it has destroyed Iran’s naval vessels but the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has a so-called mosquito fleet of small attack boats, including speed boats, which have targeted tankers in the strait….

NEW YORK: SUE YOU !!! .. Those wokesters in the East Village voted for Mamdani is massive numbers… a 40-point margin…. now they are suing to stop a building in their neighborhood from becoming a homeless shelter.
Residents joined the Village Organization for the Integrity of Community Engagement (VOICE) in their suit against the city after Mamdani announced plans to turn a building at 8 East 3rd Street into a citywide intake shelter to house homeless adult men.

Democratic Party candidates for California governor said they would fight the Trump administration's push to get California police officers to begin issuing English proficiency tests for big rig drivers in the state because it's racist.
They ALL said something along the lines of “it’s racist” ..
Matt Mahan gave the most reasonable answer.. "The right answer here, clearly, is to hold the DMV accountable for ensuring that every driver on our roadway meets the qualifications for the licenses they have. That is the appropriate entity to do this."

In addition to dealing with the Iran War .. Hegseth removed the Flu vaccine mandate for active, reserve, and civilian employees. The shot is now voluntary. He said the mandate was “overly broad” and he wanted to “restore medical autonomy and personal freedom” for service members…
ALSO…
John Phelan is out as Secretary of the Navy. He was “removed” by Secretary Hegseth. Officially framed as a departure/resignation, but multiple reports say he was forced out/fired.
The “scuttlebutt” was that his personality “clashed” with Hegseth and others in Hegseth’s camp.. and other arguments over strategy and management…
Hung Cao (the undersecretary) is now acting Secretary of the Navy

NHL: Buffalo wins and goes up 2-1 on Boston.. Carolina up 3-0 after beating Ottawa… and Colorado wins 4-2 and is up 3-0 on the LA Kings..

NBA: Atlanta beats the NY Knicks 109-108 and takes a 2-1 series lead.. Toronto 126-104 over Cleveland. They’re up 2-1 .. and Minnesota 113-96 over Denver. Timberwolves 2-1 in series..

NFL: The Draft happened… Pretty much as expected.. QB Fernando Mendoza goes #1 to The Vegas Raiders.. #2 David Bailey Edge Rusher goes to the NY Jets .. and WR Carnell Tate of Ohio State goes #3 to the Cardinals.. Other than the #1 there were A LOT of Defense .. and Lineman in round 1…

Football coach Mike Vrabel and reporter Dianna Russini were “caught” hanging together by the pool in Arizona at an NFL Conference last week… and although the pics looked a little incriminating, they both denied anything was going on… WELL….
The NY Post has pictured of them hanging out together in a bar in NY .. SIX YEARS ago.. Witnesses say they were “kissing and all over each other” ..HERE.. HERE… at THAT time, Vrabel was already married and Rusinni got married six months later..
