As expected, the “White House Correspondents Dinner” gunman has been charged with attempted assassination….and a whole lotta other things…

Cole Allen, 31, a teacher from California, was armed with a 12 gauge pump action shotgun, a .38-caliber semi-automatic pistol and three knives when he was arrested after his attempt to rush the high-end event on Saturday, Assistant US Attorney Jocelyn Ballantine told a federal court.

He had checked into the hotel the day before which got him “inside” past the first line of security.. He was stopped at the “security to get into the event” when he fired a weapon and was tackled by security..

The DOJ answered the “how did he get so close” question with, “He didn’t. There were Secret Service, Washington Metro Police, and FBI on site. The perpetrator was stopped at security outside the event” .. They DID admit they need better “perimeter security measures going forward” ..

County election officials must tally the signatures, verify them, and send them to California’s secretary of state before the measure can appear on the ballot. The people familiar with the campaign said they expect that will be more than enough to clear the required 875,000-signature threshold, even after accounting for illegible or invalid signatures.

California readers that “aren’t Billionaires but have good jobs/careers” …They are coming for you next.. Remember.. When the Sixteenth Amendment (The Federal Govt. right to tax your income) was ratified in 1913 it was “ONLY FOR THE RICH” .. 95% of Americans owed nothing!!!

The ultra rich will pay taxes .. but.. if you abuse them, they will leave.. (and they ARE leaving) ..

NEBRASKA: (AP) — Nebraska on Friday will become the first state to enforce work, volunteer or education requirements for new Medicaid applicants, eight months before the federally mandated requirements kick in.

The SWAMP isn’t gonna stop this crap anytime soon.. But, talk about “UnAmerican” or “Threat to our Republic” ..

How is it “Good” for us American Citizens when you have a state like Massachusetts where there is a large bloc of Registered Independents, 40% of the state votes Republican.. and there are ZERO Republican reps in Congress. Maryland has a similar split and ONE Republican out of 8 .. Illinois? 3 Republicans out of 17..

Switch it around.. Oklahoma is 30-35% Democrat and has ZERO Dem Reps out of 5. Arkansas.. 4-0 GOP .. Utah currently 4-0 Republicans..

This is just NOT good.. and.. The only way to change it is for Congress to vote to change it.. (The SCOTUS rules on the Constitution and current laws.. They won’t stop this crap unless it can be proven to be racially motivated or something like that) .. and Congress is NOT likely to do that.. (Just yesterday, the Supreme Court overturned a lower court’s decision to block Texas’ new map.. )

RUNNING: Apologies and a shout out.. Yesterday I told you about the first guy to run a sub-2 hour marathon.. Sabastian Sawe of Kenya set the world record at 1:59:30 ..But.. Yomif Kejelcha of Ethopia finished in 1:59:41 .. So.. HE was Sub- 2 hours, too!! Congrats to both of them..

If you’re asking, “Why did this happen at the same time” .. Well, the weather was PERFECT and the London marathon usually has fast times because it’s basically at sea level and the course is flat… Still, I could train for a year and STILL not finish in TWICE that time !!!

Diego Pavia was the star QB at Vanderbilt that shocked/upset/beat South Carolina, LSU, Mizzou, Auburn and Tennessee .. He was a Heisman Finalist.. and he went UNdrafted.. .. Why? He didn’t fit the mold… and..he MIGHT be a bit of an “attitude problem”

He is listed as 6 feet but he is probably 5 foot 10.. Played 2 years of Junior College, then 2 at New Mexico, then 2 at Vanderbilt .. He has been offered a mini-camp tryout by the Ravens.. Remember this folks… I can think of another QB that didn’t come from a powerhouse college.. and was 5 foot 11 ..That they thought didn’t fit the NFL QB Mold… DREW BREES..

MLB: Pitcher Trevor Bauer won the Cy Young Award in 2020… Less than a year later a woman (and then ANOTHER Woman) accused him of sexual assault.. The LAPD would not file charges due to lack of evidence.

Woman #1 dropped her lawsuit after Bauer countersued claiming she was just looking for money. The case was settled with both sides ending their suits and NO MONEY was exchanged.. Woman #2 is actually facing fraud charges for lying. (Messages were found like, “watch this, I’m gonna get him to pay me”)

Despite no charges.. and both girls recanting.. The MLB gave Bauer the longest MLB suspension in history.. 324 games. (Later reduced to 194) .. The MLB can do this because they have their own rules.. No need for “evidence” .. The MLB can just do what they want..

Bauer was forced to go pitch in Mexico, then Japan.. He “re-appeared” last week in the USA pitching for the Independent League Long Island Ducks.. and.. Well… He threw a near-perfect game.. No Hits, one walk through 7 innings (Game ended 13-0 and in the 7th… That league has a “mercy rule”) .. impressive start…

MY QUESTIONS: Will a MLB team give him a shot? Or were there “other things that the MLB and Owners know about Bauer that will keep them from trying” ?? .. Also, can/should Bauer be able to sue the MLB? He could argue their suspension was a “Metoo conspiracy” with no evidence and it cost him tens of millions of dollars… Because.. Yes, some athletes are scum bag woman beaters.. But.. It appears BOTH these cases were B.S. ..
