Some former Spirit Airlines employees have filed a class-action lawsuit alleging that the Florida company’s worker layoffs violate a federal law mandating a 60-day notice prior to such terminations.

The laid-off employees filed the litigation in the federal bankruptcy court in the Southern District of New York, accusing the no-frills carrier of sending a mass email to employees earlier this month without the proper advance written notice required by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988, or the WARN Act.

Well Former Spirit Employees … Ya want the Good News.. The Bad News .. or the Good news??? ..

The good news is that the government and the courts try to help the “employees” over the Big Bad Company…

The Bad news is you won’t see money for a while because you are a creditor in a bankruptcy. Spirit didn’t fire you without proper notice, they went out of business. SHUT!! So, you are now in line with others they owed money to.. Like I said, courts and politicians will likely want to favor you.. But you are in line behind secured creditors (banks, lenders with collateral), often leaving little. So, don’t hold your breath..

The OTHER good news is that your lawyers are gonna make a lot of money.. So.. That’s good… FOR THEM !!!

Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei’s order is CERTAINLY not gonna sit well with Trump .. His two “demands” to end the conflict are the Uranium goes and the Straits of Hormuz are open..

Israeli officials have told Reuters that Trump has assured Israel that Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium, needed to make an atomic weapon, will be sent out of Iran and that any peace deal must include a clause on this.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he will not consider the war over until enriched uranium is removed from Iran, Tehran ends its support for proxy militias, and its ballistic missile capabilities are eliminated.

Really???? He’s 94 !!!

The U.S. Justice Department announced (or unsealed) a federal indictment against 94-year-old Raúl Castro, former Cuban president and defense minister, for his alleged role in ordering the 1996 shootdown of two Brothers to the Rescue civilian planes over international waters. The incident killed four Cuban-American pilots

The move is largely symbolic. Castro remains in Cuba, beyond U.S. reach for arrest or extradition.

For Cuban exiles in Miami (especially families of victims), it delivers long-sought justice and validation after 30 years. Legally, it could enable asset seizures or future travel bans but won’t lead to trial soon. It signals a harder U.S. line on Cuba’s leadership without immediate regime change.

Sorry to rehash what I’ve said before.. But.. The fact that Cuba is such crap .. In 2026 .. is INSANE… If they could just get rid of their corrupt socialist government they could be a regional tourism MECCA!! ..

INDIANA: Tough Call here …

A 75-year-old Indiana woman was upset with her Drive-Thru order at Tim Horton’s and went inside to tell them.. She berated an 17 year old girl worker and the (20 year old) manager came over and ordered her to leave.. The 75 year old woman argued with the manager (this is all on tape) then started punching her .. The manager grabbed the woman, who then ripped out a chunk of the manager’s hair.

Police were called .. the 75 year old woman is seen on camera getting up and sitting at a table making a call… 10 minutes later, she lay on the floor and when police finally arrived, she was dead.

The internet went ballistic over the initial story… That narrative was that “kid thugs beat up an old woman that just wanted a donut and coffee” … But, when police released security footage, the story all changed.

Geez… This a tough call ..Sad that a woman died… But, the 75 year old lady could have avoided ALL of it.. Just take your donut and go… I don’t think anyone should go smacking old women… But, if that old woman is gonna punch people in the face, there are going to be consequences ..

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson is learning on the job.. Learning the Big Girl things..

Wilson joined a Starbucks barista strike and told everyone she was done with Starbucks and won’t drink it and neither should you .. Because, of course she did.. She’s a socialist wokester .. Starbucks (Partially because of her and partially because of Washington State’s tax threats) are building a facility in Nashville .. Thousands of jobs.. Millions in lost taxes ..

Wilson’s fellow wokesters on the Seattle Council are flippin out on Wilson.. The rumblings are that Starbucks might move MORE business out of Seattle ..and .. Not only are they a huge employer and taxpayer, they are a great community citizen and partner. So… Wilson is “Walking back” her “Go ahead and leave” stance..

In a statement that would make Kamala Harris proud, Wilson said that, “Seattle will have to have a multi-directional relationship with Starbucks” …. HUH?? .. Not only is that NOT an apology .. It doesn’t make any sense!! Are you trying to say, “We want you to go but still want your money” ???

Anyone surprised the girl the never served in office and never had a real job and was supported by her parents into her 40’s is screwing up as Mayor?

TEXAS: SpaceX has two items in the news .. First, the Launch … The 12th integrated test flight of Starship (first with Version 3 hardware: Booster 19 / Ship 39). Suborbital profile; no booster catch attempt. Ship will deploy ~20 Starlink simulator satellites (some for heat shield imagery) and attempt Raptor relight + ocean splashdown..

Second, The announced they are going public … The SpaceX IPO is the biggest EVER .. They have a target valuation of $1.75 Trillion and will raise $50-$70 Billion in their IPO .. Expect all the ninnies on CNBC and Financial networks to talk about little else for the next few weeks..

Frank was one of the strongest proponents in the early 2000’s loosening loan requirements on lower income people and neighborhoods which led to bank failures .. He was a main architect of his name bearing, “Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010” that tried to regulate the Banking system to avoid another “2008-like meltdown” .. It didn’t end “To big to fail” .. In fact, it imposed over 400 new rules on small and community banks and strangled them..
