Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for face-to-face negotiations in a public letter addressed directly to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The letter, the first public message Zelenskyy has written directly to Putin since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in 2022, was a sweeping critique of the Russian leader’s 26 years in power.
Zelenskyy acknowledged shifting U.S. priorities, saying it would be wrong to simply wait for the Trump administration to return its attention to ending the Ukraine war while it remains heavily focused on the Iran war.
President Donald Trump said it “would be great” if Putin and Zelenskyy met. “They should get it done,” Trump said.

ALASKA-CHUKOTA: A tunnel under the Bering Strait from Alaska to Chukota, Russia has been long discussed and Putin aide, Kirill Dmitriev, is proposing to get the project started. Dmitriev wants Elon Musk to join the project and have his Boring Company. He estimates the 70 mile tunnel could be done within 7 years.
Dmitriev said the tunnel will “symbolize unity, spur resource exploration, create jobs and boost both economies .. Some estimates say it would cost 8 Billion dollars .. Others say that is pipe dream and it would cost hundreds of billions ..

TEXAS: The trial of murderer Karmelo Anthony is underway .. Anthony murdered a competitor at a track meet. There are all sorts of demonstrations and protests outside the court. Anthony is black and the victim was white. They got in an argument over Anthony coming under the competitors tent.
There is video, dozens of witnesses, and Anthony admitted he stabbed the boy but claimed self defense… Even though he ran away and tried to ditch the knife. There is controversy over the fact that the jury is all white. The black potential jurors were dismissed after telling the judge they could not be unbiased …

The “Ukraine Support Act” passed the House.. It makes $8 billion available for loans and authorized $1 Billion in Aid..

Former national security adviser John Bolton will plead guilty to mishandling classified information while working in President Trump’s first administration.
Bolton, 77, was indicted in October 2025 on 18 counts of illegally hoarding or sending sensitive information. The charges largely revolved around his best-selling 2020 tell-all “The Room Where It Happened,” in which Bolton gave readers a behind-the-scenes look at his time in the White House
Bolton is expected to plead guilty to a single count of illegal retention of classified information, which carries a penalty of up to five years in prison, and pay a fine of more than $2 million.
I gotta say .. I don’t like the selective prosecution.. It’s either a CRIME to have Classified documents at your house.. or it isn’t … They should prosecute them ALL .. or NONE or them..
