A Florida resident won the $800 Million Mega Millions Jackpot on Tuesday …
Now, SOME states allow winners to remain anonymous .. But, Florida has a 90 Day rule…. You get 90 Days
Under Florida Statute 24.1051, anyone who wins a lottery prize of $250,000 or more receives a 90-day public records exemption, beginning the day they officially claim the ticket at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee
Once the 90 days pass, the winner’s full legal name and city of residence become part of the public record and can be released to anyone who files a public records request.
So, Florida residents - NO state taxes = Good … Public Disclosure: BAD
There IS a way around having everyone know it was you, (And pestering you for money) … You set up Trust and have THAT accept the prize money..
A REAL sleuth could still find you.. The people at the Lottery know the beneficial owner is and so does the IRS .. So.. you could probably get someone to speak… But.. It keeps your name out of the public domain..
If you haven’t read my “Lottery Plan” .. Here is what you do if you win. First, list “Raj, my favorite Rant Writer” as a 10% partner in the ticket !!! .. If you have relatives that you want to share with (and your state will allow it) make them 1% or 5% partners. (Saves double taxation)..
Then, for all your friends and acquaintances that may come asking for money … Have a Bill Party…. Rent a place.. get it catered like a wedding.. and everyone brings their bills for the month… Gas Bill, Mortgage, Car payment…etc.. Your friends get their bills paid that month.. and they can’t come looking for more !!!

IRAN: Here we go again …
Iran (and their terrorists that they fund) tried to bomb US targets in the region (Jordan and Saudi) .. So.. The US is “responding” .. and to quote the President… “bombing the sh*t out of ‘em” (how “Presidential) .. At SOME point, Iran is going to be disabled to the point they cannot interfere in the Straits of Hormuz … Let’s hope that is soon…

Rescuers continue searching collapsed structures, including a shopping mall affected by an explosion and a paper factory, while dealing with aftershocks, power/water outages, and extreme heat. Thousands remain in evacuation centers.

MINNESOTA: NO NUDE!!
Elon Musk’s company xAI has sued Minnesota over the state’s first-in-the-nation law that bans “nudification” technology on websites and apps.
Musk’s company sued in federal court, days before the law is set to take effect Saturday and make Minnesota the first state to try to outlaw the increasingly proliferating technology that lets people use AI to to create fake nude images of real people.
In the 38-page lawsuit, xAI said it does not contest the state’s interest in banning the distribution of AI-generated nude images of real people without their consent. But it said Minnesota’s law “extends far beyond that goal,” banning many constitutionally protected images and video and subjecting the company to a penalty of $500,000 per violation.

SENATE COVID HEARING: Dr. Fauci took the Fifth over 100 times and didn’t answer many questions.. Which is exactly what we all expected.. One of his azzhole lawyers wouldn’t shut up and was thrown out of the hearing. (Fauci had 6 other lawyers there)
The Senators were frustrated and berated Fauci for lying about the origin (Lab leak) and the fact that the “Vaccine” didn’t halt transmission or protect you from getting Covid .. and other things..
Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) went off on Dr. Anthony Fauci, blaming him for COVID lockdown mandates and asking: “Who the f–k do you think you were for doing that?”
So.. Senators vented .. But, it was all political theater (as is MOST of what happens today in DC) .. Fauci was Pardoned … He isn’t about to open his mouth and become subject to NEW charges of lying to Congress. This is America. He has that right.. What is in question is his Pardon.. Since he cannot be charged does claiming rights to “not answer at the risk of incriminating himself” hold? .. Or is he, “in contempt of Congress”?? …
Analyst Mike Benz has a good idea .. Since Fauci cannot be prosecuted, how about take his medical license away? How many doctors had their licenses stripped for not complying with Fauci’s edicts and orders? .. Maybe they can do the same to Fauci over the lies and cover-ups ..

The Senate Judiciary Committee called off a scheduled vote on Todd Blanche’s nomination for attorney general, less than 24 hours before it was to be held — after two Republicans threatened to tank the acting attorney general’s confirmation bid.
At issue is a settlement reached between the IRS and President Trump earlier this year, which established a since-scrapped $1.776 billion fund for victims of government weaponization and granted the president immunity from tax audits.
Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Tom Tillis (R-NC), both of whom are leaving office at the start of next year, are demanding “written assurances” from Blanche addressing concerns they have about the settlement before they vote to confirm Trump’s pick for the top post at the Justice Department.

In ONE “NCAA does ANOTHER STUPID THING” story…
They suspended Tennessee linebacker Arion Carter for the first two games of the season for accepting a $427 flight from an agent after he declared for the NFL draft.
Carter, a senior from Smyrna, Tennessee, played through a foot injury late in the 2025 season. After declaring for the draft, he aggravated the injury and needed surgery, and ultimately decided to return to Tennessee for another season.
Carter “disengaged” with the agent and paid him back for the flight after deciding to stay in college .. They should fine him NOTHING and sit him for NO games. You have players making millions in NIL deals and you’re gonna screw this kid?
CELEBRIDIOTS:
Actor/Musician Jared Leto is the latest celeb to be accused of sexual assault and rape. The headlines are dramatic .. But, the “research” and “documentary” are by the hopelessly woke BBC. So, not exactly reliable..
First, the events are from 10-20 years ago.. (2002-2016) .. They stem from teenage girls going backstage or to hotel rooms “with the band” and the claim of rape seems to be statutory rape because the girl was 17. .. and many of the claims are over “strange sexually explicit phone calls” .. Phone calls? You can HANG UP a phone..
Now, I am NOT defending Leto.. If he was knowingly engaging with 17 year old girls (meaning, they didn’t lie and say they were 20) .. Then that is creepy .. and likely a crime .. and should be investigated .. But.. We are in a different era, today.
Decades ago groupies and fan girls competing to get backstage or on the bus and having sex with “the band” wasn’t “assault” .. If this is a case of “I was young and stupid and I now regret it, 25 years later” .. I dunno if I can convict a guy .. But, if these girls were forced to do things they didn’t want to.. Leto should be prosecuted..
Is that a fair assessment? Or am I being unfair to the 4 girls ??

They “got away” with a small, private ceremony and will not be doing a big “Travis and Taylor Swift at MSG” gig… They don’t speak about it publicly.. But, their “stylist” shot down rumors of a big event..
