Austin: SHHHHH… Don’t tell the “bad guys” …. Austin has such a police shortage that this weekend for several hours the entire section of East Austin was left without a patrol officer. NOT ONE!! .. A few detectives, making FAT overtime pay covered … (So they say) ..

I know the Austin PD and the Police Union want to draw attention to the fact they NEED more officers .. but.. publicizing this is a bad idea … The bad guys read the news too ..on their Obama-Iphones … and they will head to the “no-cop” zones to rob people ..

SPAIN:

Last year, Maksim Kuzminov defected from Russia by flying into Ukraine in a Mi-8 army helicopter with the help of Ukrainian intelligence. Apparently, the two other Russians on the crew were murdered when they landed in Ukraine.

Last week, police in Spain found a body so riddled with bullets they could not identify it … Well, they have now … and it’s Kuzminov. The Ukrainian military confirmed Kuzminov was dead in Spain but would give no other details or explanation..

Alabama’s Supreme Court has ruled that frozen embryos are children under state law and subject to legislation dealing with the wrongful death of a minor, stating that it “applies to all unborn children, regardless of their location.”

The court issued this majority decision in a lawsuit brought forth by a group of in vitro fertilization (IVF) patients whose frozen embryos were destroyed in December 2020 when a patient removed the embryos from a cryogenic storage unit and dropped them on the ground.

The Court said, “The relevant statutory text is clear: the Wrongful Death of a Minor Act applies on its face to all unborn children, without limitation.” … which leads you to the correct place… Legislature ..

These subjects should be decided by ELECTED representatives. Not the courts !!! If your state says an embryo is a kid .. and you think that is silly .. go to a different state. .. Or vote the bums out .. Guns?… Taxes?? Whatever the issue the State Congress should be making the rules…

A Haitian judge has indicted former first lady Martine Moïse, as well as the country’s former prime minister and police chief, in connection with the 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.

The indictment accuses Martine Moïse, who was seriously wounded in the attack, of being complicit in the assassination of her husband. The judge said he found contradictions in Moïse’s statements and some evidence that suggests she knew about a plot against the former president.
